Local elections often come down to a few hundred votes. Your donation helps us reach voters and elect leaders who put our neighborhoods, climate, and public spaces first.
Austin City Council races are often very close. Kirk Watson won the 2022 mayoral race by roughly 886 votes, and individual council seats were decided by even fewer. Reaching a few hundred neighbors can change who represents our city.
Every dollar supports the work of raising awareness, engaging voters, and amplifying candidates who prioritize the needs of our community. Contributions right now support the Save the Soul of Austin citizen-initiative petition drive, and only this effort.
Austin United PAC is led by people who live here and answer to this community. Our treasurer, Tanya Payne, is responsible for our filings and financial accountability. We are a general purpose PAC: nonpartisan, independent, and focused on the best policy rather than any party.
We value transparency above anything else. Every donation we receive and every dollar we spend is reported publicly in the City of Austin campaign finance filings.
